Bundling Board Inn Gets Thumbs up for Business Travelers
For Immediate Release:
Woodstock, Illinois -
January 10, 2006
The Bundling Board
Inn, Woodstock Illinois, has been granted membership in Inn-BusinessTravel.com,
an Internet referral service for B&Bs friendly to business
travelers. The Bundling
Board Inn is the only bed and breakfast in Northern Illinois and only
one of seven within the State to hold this designation.
To be listed with
Inn-BusinessTravel.com, inns must meet stringent criteria. They must
have private baths and in-room desks, in-room TVs, phones and Internet
connections, and they must provide amenities such as hair dryers and
ironing boards, which business travelers have come to expect. They also
must accept credit cards, offer corporate rates, have flexible
cancellation and checkout policies, have convenient parking and safety
features, and submit to annual inspections to certify their compliance.
“This
is another exciting and rewarding accomplishment for the Inn.
Meeting Inn-BusinessTravel’s criteria signifies our commitment
to providing our business guests the best possible lodging
experience,” says Merida and Russell Johns, owners and innkeepers.
Bundling
Board Innkeeper, Merida Johns, knows business travel on a personal
basis! As president of a
multi-million dollar professional association, Merida’s weekly travel
took her across the nation and overseas.
“Delayed flights, bad weather, meals on the fly, and poorly
ventilated hotel rooms that are clones of each other add to the stress
of business travel,” says Merida.
“When I was going a gazillion miles an hour a day, what I
needed was some peace, quiet, and pampering at night so that I could be
at my highest productivity for the next day.
Yet, I seldom found what I needed in today’s modern hotel”,
adds Merida. “Even in
some of the most expensive hotels the extra touch just wasn’t
there.”
The
Bundling Board Inn offers an alternative for the corporate traveler who
wants luxury amenities and more than the usual hotel fare.
“We go the extra mile to make sure that our business guests get
personalized service,” adds Russell.
Complementary hot and cold beverages are available 24 hours a day
and complementary evening refreshments are provided from 8:00 pm until
6:00 am the next morning. An
amenity basket with shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, and
other incidentals is available free-of-charge for items that the guest
might have forgotten to pack.
Comfortable queen-size
beds, hand-ironed cotton bed linens, blankets made from natural fibers,
and over-sized, fluffy terry bath towels provide for a peaceful
night’s rest. A full, hot
breakfast is provided between 6:30 and 9:00 am and dietary restrictions
and special requests are accommodated.
“Our
business guests continually complement us on how much they feel at home
at the Inn. Meeting their
individual needs, making them comfortable and providing them with an
exceptional lodging experience is our priority.”
